  • CEO

    A member of the White Earth Nation, Paul oversees the strategic direction and growth of our company. His keen entrepreneurial instinct is evident in his business planning, critical thinking skills, and overall sense of leadership. Paul graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and later received his professional engineering license. He brings 30 years of experience in engineering, construction, and business diversification. Outside of the office, Paul is highly involved in his community, leading charitable foundations and sitting on nonprofit boards. He also coaches youth sports and is an avid golfer.

    Doug directs the overall vision of Woodstone, working with Paul to pursue diverse markets and expand the company’s service offerings. He is committed to forming and sustaining relationships with our valued clients and is widely considered to be a national leader in Native American construction. Doug began his career as an iron worker and later received a degree in Construction Management from Minnesota State University in Mankato. Over the decades, Doug gained broad experience in the commercial construction industry, specializing in gaming, hospitality, and multi-family housing complexes. In his time off, Doug participates in scouting and enjoys canoeing, camping, and fishing with his family.

    With two decades of experience in fiscal management, corporate strategy, and business leadership, Derek has driven success across the construction, real estate, and manufacturing industries. He excells in dynamic business environments with a growth mindset, emphasis on innovation, and commitment to continuous improvement. His multi-faceted strengths shine as he not only spearheads Woodstone’s financial functions but also oversees our human resources and IT departments, ensuring a comprehensive approach to organizational success. Derek has degrees from the University of Minnesota and Metropolitan State University. He spends his free time outdoors with his family where they enjoy mountain biking, snowboarding, and hiking. Derek also finds balance in his life as an avid yoga practitioner.

  • Vice President of Marketing

    Lori is a highly respected marketing and business development executive with three decades of success managing marketing partnerships. She’s a skilled problem solver with a unique background and inherent ability to thrive in evolving work environments. With a passion for driving brand awareness, relationship building, and finding opportunities for growth, Lori puts her exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to work for both clients and business partners. She has served on the boards of the Advertising Federation of Minnesota and the Midwest Region of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s), and is also a member of the Network of Executive Women. Away from work, Lori’s makes family her first priority. She also loves playing golf, spending weekends at her lake cabin, and traveling.

    At an early age, Dustin began working in construction and was inspired to earn a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Construction Management from the University of Minnesota. Now, with over 15 years of industry experience, he has built a diverse project portfolio while gaining valuable insights in the field. He thrives working with disciplined teams that value mutual accountability, commitment to innovation, teamwork, and excellence in the ever-changing construction landscape. Dustin holds titles as a Design-Build Professional and LEED professional. Outside of work, you’ll find Dustin spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.

  • Project Director

    Tom brings 30+ years of experience in the construction industry, including 24 years in construction management and 23 years working on Tribal projects in Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Washington, among other states. Since earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Tech Construction Management from Bemidji State University, Tom has managed many large-scale projects across market segments, including healthcare, community development, hospitality, and gaming. His unique strengths are an ability to nurture client relationships, coordinate with project team members, and consider all details on every project. On days off, Tom enjoys spending time with family, golfing, hunting, fishing, traveling, and watching sports.

  • Project Director, Field Operations

    Responsible for ensuring the productivity and efficiency of project operations in the field, Brian coordinates and oversees our project management teams. His goal: to maximize profitability and ensure jobs are run smoothly. To that end, he has a history of completing projects on time and on budget. Brian graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. He brings 25 years of commercial construction experience along with contract experience that includes General Contractor/Construction Manager, Negotiated, Hard-Bid, and Design-Build for private, public, and military/government projects. His other passions include spending time with family, fishing, and hunting.

    Patrick is an exemplary leader who’s responsible for managing and training multiple project teams in budgeting, cost management, subcontract management, scheduling, and project constructability. Essentially it’s Patrick’s responsibility to ensure that all projects are managed the “Woodstone Way.After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Construction, Patrick has amassed 35 years of commercial construction experience successfully managing complex projects across the country. When not working on a Woodstone project, Patrick enjoys most sports, fishing, golfing, and supporting his favorite MLS team, the MNUFC Loons.
